Dad's At Abbott Hospital
Dad was shipped to Abbott to get additional help with getting the
fluid off of his body! It seem so grim yesterday and yet I felt
we were all pushing onward. No time to get teary and pray for this
procedure to work.
The procedure is called Aquapheresis Therapy!
They put in a central line that has two ports. One they draw out
the blood the other they put back in. The little machine is like
a dialysis machine. Within 20 minutes he had 100mls off!!!
This morning I called and the RN said they had taken 3 liters off!
I am so thankful!!! So thankful!! Dad is reporting to be
feeling good!
Throughout all this he has been positive and a good patient! His
feet are awful looking. Cellulitus, blistered and bright red. But
is on antiobitic x 2! I pick Deb up at the airport at 10:45 a.m.
and we will be with Dad. Keep praying and talk later!!
